The Pergola transforms the traditional British pub garden into something rather special, complete with a grass-effect carpet that feels surprisingly natural underfoot and wooden beams wrapped in festoon lights overhead. We've created this covered outdoor space that works brilliantly year-round, thanks to our heating system that keeps everyone comfortable even when the British weather isn't cooperating. Fifty guests fit comfortably for standing receptions, while seated events work perfectly for groups of 16. The mix of tables and chairs lets your party spread out naturally, with some tucking into corners for catch-ups while others gather around the larger tables. Those twinkling lights overhead create just the right mood as evening falls, and the climbing plants and flowers along the walls add proper garden character without any of the weather worries. We've installed a large screen that comes in handy for everything from important match screenings to presentations, though most parties use the space for its intended purpose: good times with good people. The wooden structure keeps the rain off while still letting you feel like you're outside, and those festoon lights really come into their own after dark. Getting here couldn't be easier with Oval, Vauxhall and Kennington stations all nearby. On cricket match days at The Oval, the atmosphere gets particularly lively, but the Pergola maintains its own separate vibe from the main pub.
