Friendly people who showed us everything we needed to know. Very close to the ICC main building which was key. AV was good and worked well, as did the free refreshments!
I am leaving a review mainly to praise the lady on reception who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything about this place was good except poor signage to find the building in the square.
Loved it, super location and really well set up.
If I could give more stars I would. The room was spotless and of a high quality - we were offered to use free tea and coffee making facilities 9which were spotessly clean). Additionally the reception lady that greeted us and took us to our room was absolutely brilliant! She was extremeley professional but friendly with it - a very easy and enjoyable experience throughout booking and the day we hired the venue
This is a fab venue in central Birmingham, very clean, very modern and lovely setting. The room was a good size and came with everything we needed. Few small hiccups though 1) we were given a pass for our meeting room door but not to get into the building, lifts, stairwell or main reception area which meant a few times we were caught hanging around outside as we came in and out during breaks in our meeting. Particularly as there wasn't a permanent member of staff on the building reception. 2) We ordered unlimited refreshments which apparently didn't show up on our order (although I was charged separately for them) we were provided with a jug of coffee, hot water and milk and a couple of bottles of water but no snacks and nobody came to check on the levels during the meeting. Overall, this is a great venue and for us was great value - but that's because the venue was honouring a quote from elsewhere, normally it would have been a lot more expensive and I think to justify that cost the staff need to be a bit more attentive and proactive about looking after guests. They were friendly and polite throughout but for the normal fees I'd expect a lot more in terms of service level. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would recommend this venue to others.
Due to a lack of ground floor reception staff you will find yourself stood outside for long periods waiting to be let in by a member of staff. If you manage to follow someone in you will then find that you do not have the ability to use the lifts or access the stairwell. It may be a nice venue but the issues with acces make it feel unprofessional and as if we were a burden on the staff. Customer service from Zipcube was excellent prior to the booking, however, and our experience in the Brindleyplace ghost-town is no reflection on them.
Great space but watch out for the rooms with no natural light. Also, issues connecting our Mac to the monitor in 2 different rooms. Staff very helpful but couldn't make the monitors work so we were without a screen to display presentations.
Nice, clean, friendly.
We needed to find an meeting space in less than 24 hours, our needs were listened to and met very quickly. Great communication throughout. The venue itself was lovely and they were very attentive.
Jo was extremely helpful (especially since Covid is still in full swing). Arranged everything for us, offered to make drinks, showed us around prior to the meeting - super friendly and would use again.
Very easy to use and secure a room at short notice.
