Our home at 11 Mare Street in Hackney combines The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities with an Absinthe Parlour that feels more like a Victorian collector's fever dream than a typical bar. We pour traditional absinthes alongside our house-made Devil's Botany, mixing them into cocktails that take their cues from the shrunken heads and rare skeletons decorating our walls. Our bartenders work beneath displays of Chilean and Peruvian specimens, creating reverse-engineered vintage-style drinks while you explore the collection between sips. The menu changes regularly, but you'll always find French cheese boards alongside our more adventurous offerings - yes, we do serve edible insects for those feeling brave. Our space transforms brilliantly for private parties. We've hosted everything from intimate birthday gatherings where guests learned absinthe preparation techniques, to corporate events where teams bonded over tarot readings between cocktails.
