Cocktail Masterclass Venues: Tips and Ideas

Do you struggle to tell a Mai Tai from a screwdriver? If cocktails really aren't your game, you could probably do with being given some tips. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Is everyone in your group much of a drinker? There should be mocktail options as well if you or anyone you know isn't too keen on the alcohol part.
  • Have you considered what type of booze you'd most like to learn about? You can ask for tailored lessons if you're a bit of a gin fanatic or whiskey lover, for instance.
  • Try to organise this event for earlier on in the evening, perhaps after a solid meal. You'll get more out of things if you turn up sober and then carry on the drinking afterwards.

Learning how to mix a drink isn't necessarily for everyone. If you decide you'd prefer to have some fun at a cocktail bar where the drinks are made for you (or perhaps at a karaoke bar where the emphasis is different altogether) – don't shy away from booking something else!
