Rising from the Solent waters near Portsmouth, our island venue welcomes up to 200 guests who arrive by boat, leaving the mainland behind for an experience unlike any other. The moment you enter our central Atrium, you'll understand why couples and event planners choose us. The spectacular glass roof floods this historic space with natural light by day and frames the stars at night, creating an atmosphere that photographs can't quite capture. We've preserved the fort's original military architecture while adding 23 spacious en-suite bedrooms, each offering uninterrupted sea views that remind you just how far from ordinary life you've traveled. Our five distinct bars each tell a different story - from the Officer's Mess with its polished brass to the Commandant's quarters where leather armchairs invite long conversations. Whether your group prefers casual dining on the gun deck or formal meals in our restaurant, our chefs work with the isolation to their advantage, planning menus weeks in advance to ensure every plate meets expectations. Between meetings or after dinner, guests often head to our rooftop hot tubs to watch ships pass in the distance, or gather around the fire pit as evening falls. For those seeking adventure, we've converted the basement ammunition stores into a laser tag arena - where else can you play tactical games in actual military tunnels? Our spa therapists use sea salt harvested from the waters surrounding us, while fishing enthusiasts can cast lines directly from the fort's walls. We host weddings where the bride arrives by speedboat, corporate retreats where teams bond over their shared "siege," and private parties where the only neighbors are seabirds.
