A short walk from Dalston Junction, Dalston Kingsland, Canonbury and Highbury & Islington stations, Leroy House is a brilliant North London base, offering fresh inspiration at every turn. The 1960s-style brutalist building houses an abundance of large, light-filled spaces, workshops and studios and the dynamic location is full of fabulous surprises.
Easy to find on the corner of Essex Road, Leroy House has long been a mainstay of the capital’s creative community and is surrounded by fresh and exciting young businesses – just like yours. One of them also happens to be the finest lunch spot for miles; The Dusty Knuckle, a socially conscious sandwich shop and bakery. Grab breakfast buns as big as your head here, as well as sarnies packed with innovative ingredients – think charred hispi cabbage or chicken and nduja. They also host regular pizza parties and pop-up dinners in their Dalston yard and do a pretty decent coffee. But if you’re after a flat white with attitude then try the fabulous Allpress Espresso Roastery or Aussie cafe Brunswick East.
