Upstairs at Oystercatcher, our Private Restaurant captures everything we love about riverside dining. The moment you step through the doors, those floor-to-ceiling windows reveal why we fell for this space, the Thames stretches out before you in a panorama that changes with every tide and season. We've kept the design deliberately understated to let those views do the talking. Warm wooden floors meet contemporary furnishings, while pendant lamps cast just the right glow as daylight fades. The room comfortably seats 80 guests, with tables we can arrange to suit your vision, whether that's long banquet-style setups or more intimate rounds for conversation. Our kitchen team takes genuine pride in what comes out of those doors. We dry-age our beef in-house, source ingredients with care, and create menus that range from elegant three-course dinners to relaxed sharing platters. Canapés, late-night bites, informal buffets, we adapt to what your event needs. Everything arrives on proper crockery with real glassware, because details matter. The practical elements work as they should: climate control keeps everyone comfortable year-round, Wi-Fi connects without fuss, and our PA system delivers crystal-clear sound. Bring your own playlist or book a DJ, we're set up for both. The space flows naturally, making mingling easy during drinks receptions before guests take their seats. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're a short stroll from Greenwich station, which means your guests arrive relaxed rather than frazzled. Our team handles the logistics while you focus on your celebration, whether that's a significant birthday, wedding reception, or company dinner. The combination of river views, thoughtful cuisine, and a space that just works makes every gathering here feel special.
