Arriving at the Wharf room feels like stepping into Bath's best-kept secret, with those floor-to-ceiling windows framing the canal boats gliding past Widcombe Wharf below. We've watched countless events unfold in this second-floor space, from wedding receptions that spill onto the dance floor to corporate presentations where the water views help ease those Monday morning meetings. The room holds 200 standing guests comfortably, or we can arrange seating for 100 at round tables, with the exposed beams and industrial lighting creating an atmosphere that works equally well for formal dinners or relaxed celebrations. Our dedicated bar runs the full length of one wall, where we serve everything from local draught beers to proper coffees, and our team knows exactly when to keep the drinks flowing and when to step back during speeches. That stage at the far end has hosted everything from live bands on Saturday nights to CEOs presenting quarterly results. We've got wireless microphones that actually work (two of them), and our sound system connects to whatever playlist you've spent weeks perfecting. The projector's available too if you need it, though many groups find the canal views more engaging than any PowerPoint. The wooden floors have seen their share of dancing, and we can configure the space however works best, whether that's cabaret-style for 70 or clearing everything for a proper party. The lift makes access straightforward for everyone, and we've got accessible facilities on this floor. While some find us pricey, most appreciate having a space that doesn't feel like every other function room in Bath, where the narrowboats drifting past add something unexpected to any gathering.

Excellent choice for a small meeting. Smart facilities, easy access and the lunch was good value. Would definitely book again.

An excellent place in which to hold a meeting with friendly staff. Perhaps the only drawback is parking but we were all lucky to find places on the road; next time I will consider using the train
