Step into The Distillery Bar, where the original Stevenson & Howell fragrance factory once created its perfumes, and you'll find yourself transported to a 1930s drinking den reimagined for modern celebrations. Our fumed oak parquet floors gleam beneath the soft glow of industrial fixtures, while rich green leather Chesterfields invite your guests to sink in with cocktails in hand. The first thing that catches everyone's eye is our Penny Wall, an art installation crafted from over 16,000 pennies that sparkles differently as the evening light changes. Behind our bar, more than 100 hand-picked gins line the shelves, each one carefully selected for our signature cocktails made with house-crafted syrups and infusions. We can accommodate up to 130 standing guests or 80 seated, with our banquet setup welcoming 100 for dinner service and reception style hosting up to 200. Our barrelled ceiling creates an intimate atmosphere even when the space is filled with celebration. The DJ booth tucked into the corner has seen countless dance floors come alive, from corporate celebrations that spill onto our outdoor terrace to milestone birthday parties that last until closing. The warm wood tones and vintage-inspired furnishings provide the perfect backdrop whether you're hosting cocktails before a wedding reception in our main restaurant or throwing an anniversary party that takes over the entire bar. Just six minutes from Southwark tube station, your guests can easily find us, with the London Eye barely a mile away. After exploring nearby Tate Modern or Shakespeare's Globe, they'll appreciate settling into our Chesterfields with one of our bartenders' latest gin creations.
