When your event deserves more than just another corporate venue, the Upper Floor at German Gymnasium delivers something extraordinary. We've transformed the entire upper level of our Grade II-listed building into a private sanctuary where business meets pleasure, complete with its own dedicated entrance that keeps your gathering entirely separate from the main restaurant below. Your guests will catch their breath as they enter through soaring vaulted ceilings supported by elegant neoclassical pillars, while daylight streams through our grand windows. Come evening, we adjust the lighting to create exactly the atmosphere you're after, whether that's energetic networking or intimate celebration. The space flows beautifully between our restaurant area, the Meister Bar, and a semi-private dining section, giving you flexibility to design your event exactly as you envision it. We comfortably seat 150 for formal dinners or accommodate up to 250 guests for standing receptions. Our kitchen team serves the same Mittel-European inspired menu that's made us a King's Cross destination, from elegant canapés to full three-course dinners. The Meister Bar becomes your private domain, stocked with our carefully curated selection of wines, spirits, and craft beers, with service available until 10 PM.
