The Terrace is where our botanical garden meets your party plans, complete with a transparent roof that lets you dance under the stars while staying dry. We've tucked this two-level space between our main tavern and beer garden, creating a semi-private retreat that holds 150 standing guests or 120 seated around our rustic wooden tables. Plants cascade from every corner here, with our living wall wrapping around the space while wicker lanterns cast warm pools of light across the weathered wood benches. The natural light floods in during daytime events, transforming completely as evening falls and our lighting creates an intimate garden party atmosphere. We installed ceiling fans throughout to keep the air moving on those sticky summer nights, and the transparent roofing means you get that outdoor feel whatever the weather throws at us. Our open-fire kitchen serves this space directly, sending out Pacific-inspired plates that match perfectly with craft ales from our bar. The smell of flame-grilled fish and roasted vegetables drifts across the terrace, adding to that proper outdoor dining experience. We've equipped the space with everything you need for presentations or entertainment too, including professional speakers, a projector, flatscreen TV, and strong Wi-Fi that actually works when you need it. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Surrey Quays Station just around the corner and plenty of parking on-site. The entire terrace sits at ground level with wheelchair access throughout, so everyone in your party can move freely between the dining areas and bar. We regularly transform this space for birthday celebrations, corporate parties, and creative workshops, working out custom packages that might include exclusive use or combining the Terrace with our other spaces for larger events.
