The artwork hits you first as you climb the staircase to the Mezzanine, with original Raja Ravi Verma paintings drawing your eye upward into this captivating private space overlooking our main restaurant. We've carved out something special here on the upper level, where up to 40 guests can mingle with drinks in hand or 30 can sit down to a proper feast surrounded by intricately carved tables and those distinctive four-poster benches that everyone asks about. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, illuminating the handcrafted details throughout the room, from the ornate wooden chairs with their plush cushions to the carefully curated Indian artwork adorning every wall. You're connected to the energy of the restaurant below while maintaining complete privacy for your celebration, whether that's a milestone birthday, an engagement party, or simply gathering your favourite people for an evening of exceptional food and conversation. We've equipped the space with everything modern events require: reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning that actually works, and a PA system for speeches or background music. The room flows naturally between different configurations, from cocktail-style mingling to seated dinners where guests can properly savour our regional Indian dishes like the Gutti Vankaya or delicate Falahari Curry Kofta. Being moments from Holborn Station means your guests won't struggle to find us, and once they're here, our team takes care of every detail. We work with you to create the right atmosphere, whether you envision an intimate dinner party with our signature cocktails or a livelier standing reception. The Mezzanine offers that rare combination of cultural richness and contemporary comfort, all within the historic walls of the Grade II-listed Holborn Town Hall on High Holborn.
