The Bowling Alley at Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch brings together competitive fun and social celebration in what has to be one of East London's most unexpected party spaces. Two professional lanes run the length of this atmospheric room, where exposed brick walls meet bold "BOWLING" signage that sets the tone for your event from the moment guests arrive. We've designed this space to keep your party moving, with plush sofas and sleek seating areas positioned perfectly for those taking a break between strikes and spares. The wood-panelled walls feature circular mirrors that catch the light from our overhead fixtures, while the striped carpet adds energy underfoot. Those colorful stripes continue up the walls, creating a playful backdrop for your celebrations that photographs brilliantly. Your group of up to 100 standing guests can flow naturally between the lanes and our adjoining Playroom, where ping pong tables and a mini football table offer alternative entertainment. We find this combination works particularly well for company socials, where teams can rotate between different activities throughout the evening. Birthday parties here tend to get competitive quickly, with the scoring screens keeping track of rivalries that develop over the course of the night. Just minutes from Old Street Station, getting here couldn't be easier for your guests. We serve our full menu right in the space, with halal, vegan and gluten-free options available, and our bar stays open until 11pm. The entire area is wheelchair accessible, and for those traveling from further afield, we have accommodation upstairs and paid parking on-site.
