A spiral staircase at 1 Royal Exchange marks the beginning of your journey into our underground world, where the Whole Venue transforms centuries-old vaults into your private celebration space. These stone arches that once protected London's merchant treasures now frame parties for up to 450 guests standing or 150 seated for dining. We've preserved the exposed brickwork and vaulted ceilings while adding contemporary touches that make events flow naturally through the space. The main bar stretches along one side, its sleek design contrasting beautifully with the historic architecture above. Your guests can gather around high tables, settle into cozy booths, or move between the different areas as the evening unfolds. The dining area catches the eye with its black-and-white checkered floor, where we arrange tables according to your needs. Soft lighting plays across the stone arches while plants soften the industrial elements, creating warmth throughout. For groups wanting variety, we can open up the Whiskey Vault, our tucked-away alcove with plush seating and carefully chosen spirits, perfect for those quieter conversations during larger events. Our events team works with you to shape how you'll use the entire venue. Corporate groups often start with presentations in the main space before transitioning to cocktails and dining. Birthday parties tend to concentrate around the bar before spreading across the venue as dancing begins. Product launches use the dramatic entrance and architectural details as backdrop for reveals and demonstrations.
