Walking through to our basement level, you'll discover Downstairs at Carousel, where warehouse-style architecture meets contemporary event design. This 6,000 square foot space transforms depending on your needs, with polished concrete floors and soaring ceilings that create an atmosphere completely different from our upstairs rooms. The industrial bones of the space work brilliantly for larger gatherings. We've kept the raw concrete aesthetic but added a flexible lighting rig that lets you dial the mood from bright and energetic to intimate and atmospheric. Those pendant lights and warm string lighting you'll notice aren't just decorative, they're part of a system that adapts to film screenings, brand launches, or late-night dancing. Our projection screen and high-spec AV equipment mean presentations look as good as parties feel. What really brings events to life down here is the flow of the space. We can seat 120 for dinner with room to breathe, or open it up for 200 guests mingling with drinks. The pop-up bar tucked into the corner keeps service smooth without interrupting the party, while our professional kitchen downstairs means hot food arrives exactly when it should. For corporate events, we configure the room for 100 theatre-style or create more intimate boardroom setups for 38. Our head chef Ollie Templeton and his team design menus specifically for each event, drawing on their backgrounds at places like Moro and St John Bread & Wine. Whether you're after sharing plates that get people talking or a formal three-course dinner, they work with seasonal ingredients to create food that matches the energy of your event. The blank walls become whatever you need them to be, from branded displays for product launches to ambient lighting for wedding receptions.
