The Private Dining Room works as a brilliant extension of what we do here, transforming from our regular dining space into something entirely yours for the evening. Those industrial bones of the building really come alive when filled with your guests, the whitewashed walls catching light from the tall windows that run along one side. We can seat 96 for a formal dinner, with long tables creating that communal feast feeling that gets everyone talking. For standing receptions, we've comfortably hosted 130, giving people room to move between the bar area and those gathered around the electric baby grand piano. The acoustics in here are particularly good, whether you're making speeches or having our pianist play throughout dinner. The flexibility is what groups love most. We've arranged the space for wedding breakfasts with family-style sharing plates running down long tables, shifted everything for dancing after corporate dinners, and created more intimate configurations for milestone birthdays. Our kitchen sends out the same seasonal French and English dishes that have made us a Bethnal Green fixture, just plated specifically for your event. When evening falls, the room takes on a different character. We can bring in DJ equipment or set up a small stage area if you're planning entertainment. Many groups have their cocktail hour here before moving downstairs to The Cockatoo for cabaret, making an entire evening of it. Transport is straightforward, with Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath stations both walking distance away. The slight remove from the main drag means your guests arrive with that sense of anticipation, stepping from the everyday Wadeson Street into somewhere that feels discovered rather than obvious. Our events team handles the logistics while you focus on your guests, adjusting lighting, managing the sound system, and keeping service flowing smoothly throughout your celebration.
