The River View Bar Small Area wraps around the corner of our upper floor, where purple velvet seating curves around black tables in a natural conversation pit. We've watched countless birthday toasts happen right here, with the river glinting through those big windows as glasses clink together. This semi-private section holds up to 45 people comfortably, and the U-shaped seating arrangement means everyone stays part of the conversation. During summer parties, guests drift between the plush indoor seats and our riverside terrace just steps away, drinks in hand as boats glide past below. The wooden floors have seen their share of impromptu dancing when the mood strikes, especially once the bar gets going. Speaking of which, our bartenders are right there to keep drinks flowing, whether your crowd prefers local ales, our signature gins, or those rum cocktails that have become a bit legendary around here. The flatscreen mounted on the wall works brilliantly for birthday photo montages or when someone insists on checking the match score during their leaving do. We've hosted everything in this space, from 40th birthday bashes that spilled onto the terrace at sunset to engagement parties where the proposal story got retold at least a dozen times. Corporate groups book it for relaxed team gatherings where presentations happen over pints rather than PowerPoints.
