Behind the grand Georgian facade of One Marylebone, our God's Garden transforms what was once the church's western grounds into a captivating outdoor sanctuary. This versatile space has become our answer to London's unpredictable weather, with a clever design that adapts from sun-drenched summer garden parties to cosy winter celebrations under our heated canopy. We've arranged the garden with rustic wooden tables and chairs that nestle among an abundance of potted plants and greenery, creating intimate pockets for conversation while maintaining the flow for larger gatherings. The centrepiece is our handcrafted wooden bar, built from reclaimed timber, where bartenders serve everything from champagne toasts to craft cocktails. During summer events, guests often gravitate here as the evening light filters through the foliage. The space comfortably hosts 100 guests for seated dinners or expands to welcome 200 for standing receptions. Our stage area has seen everything from acoustic sets during wedding cocktail hours to product launches with full presentations. The acoustics work surprisingly well, whether for speeches or live music, though we do observe noise restrictions from 9pm to maintain harmony with our Marylebone neighbours. Winter transforms the garden completely. We enclose the entire space and switch on our heating system, creating an atmospheric venue where fairy lights twinkle against the backdrop of our Grade I listed building. Corporate clients particularly love this flexibility, hosting everything from festive parties to team celebrations regardless of the season. Our in-house catering team prepares menus ranging from canapés to three-course dinners, with options covering vegan, gluten-free, halal and kosher requirements. The kitchen connects directly to the garden, ensuring hot food arrives fresh to your table. With Great Portland Street station just moments away and our 11pm licence, God's Garden offers both convenience and character for celebrations that need something beyond a standard indoor venue.
