The Chatwin Bar brings Birmingham's Victorian grandeur right to your fingertips, with deep blue walls and original architectural details from 1862 creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and intimate. We've watched this first-floor space transform countless celebrations, from milestone birthdays where guests spill out onto the landing with drinks in hand, to wedding receptions where the private bar becomes the heart of the party. Your guests will find themselves naturally drawn to the mix of purple velvet chairs and high bar stools, creating different zones for conversation throughout the room. The long wooden table anchors the space beautifully, whether you're laying out a birthday buffet or gathering everyone for speeches. Natural light pours through the large windows during afternoon parties, while evenings take on a more intimate feel with our warm lighting reflecting off the wood-panelled bar. Having your own bartender changes everything about hosting.
