We've transformed Brunel's engineering marvel into Bristol's most extraordinary party venue, where Victorian craftsmanship meets contemporary celebrations in the Great Western Dockyard. Our Weather Deck brings the drama of maritime history to your drinks reception. Colourful flags flutter overhead just as they did at the 1843 launch, while your guests take in sweeping views across Bristol's Harbourside. Those original masts and rigging create an atmosphere no purpose-built venue can match. When British weather has other plans, the Promenade Deck offers shelter without sacrificing elegance, its skylights and mirrors creating a bright, sophisticated space for welcoming your guests. The First-Class Dining Saloon remains our showpiece for seated dinners. Queen Victoria once admired these marbled pillars and rococo mirrors, and now up to 160 of your guests can dine surrounded by the same opulence. We've added modern touches where they matter: a built-in PA system ensures speeches carry perfectly, while the dedicated performance area gives bands and DJs proper space to work their magic. As evening turns to night, the Hayward Saloon becomes party central. The wooden dance floor, intimate bar setup, and capacity for 40 guests creates exactly the right energy for those who want to keep celebrating. What makes an evening here special is the freedom we give your guests to explore. Between courses or during cocktail hour, they can wander the decks and corridors, discovering the ship's remarkable journey from ocean liner to your private venue.
