Walk up the grand staircase and you'll find yourself in our Billiard Room, where patterned Victorian wallpaper meets dark wood paneling in a space that feels like stepping into a private members' club. We've kept the original features that make this room special, from the ornate detailing on the walls to the central chandelier that casts just the right amount of warm light across the eclectic mix of vintage furniture. The room works brilliantly for groups who want something more intimate than our main banking hall. We can seat 36 for dinner around tables that each have their own character, or clear the space for up to 50 guests mingling with drinks. The large windows overlooking Fleet Street flood the room with natural light during daytime events, while evenings take on a more atmospheric quality when the chandelier comes into its own. For business gatherings, we regularly reconfigure the furniture into boardroom setups for 15, classroom style for 25, or U-shaped arrangements that work perfectly for presentations using the flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, whether you're hosting a summer birthday party or a winter board meeting. Our kitchen serves the same British pub classics you'll find downstairs, though we can also arrange special menus for private events. The bar team brings drinks directly to your group, so there's no need to leave this self-contained space during your event. Being just moments from Temple Station and a short walk from Chancery Lane means your guests can easily find us at 194 Fleet Street. The Billiard Room offers all the character of our Grade II-listed building in a more personal setting, complete with those Victorian touches that remind you this space has been part of London's story since 1888.
