The Heart of Midlothian Museum offers something you won't find in any corporate boardroom or hotel function space. Your event takes place surrounded by over 140 years of sporting history, with championship trophies, vintage jerseys, and match-worn boots displayed in illuminated glass cases throughout the room. We've hosted everything from intimate board meetings to champagne receptions in this ground-floor space within the Gorgie Stand. The museum comfortably seats 30 guests for dinner or accommodates up to 80 for standing receptions. Round tables dressed in white linen fill the space during seated events, while our plush red chairs echo the famous maroon of Hearts. The polished cutlery and crystal glassware catch the natural light streaming through the windows, creating an atmosphere that feels both historic and refined. The memorabilia isn't just decoration, it becomes a natural conversation starter. We've watched business deals progress as executives discover shared memories of Cup finals, and seen wedding guests bond over stories triggered by the displays. The red and white colour scheme runs throughout, from the carpet to the carefully curated exhibits, creating a cohesive backdrop for your photographs. Being right next to the Gorgie Suite means we can easily combine spaces, perhaps using the museum for pre-dinner drinks before moving through to the larger room. The private entrance keeps your event separate from any stadium tours or other activities, while our air conditioning ensures comfort regardless of Edinburgh's unpredictable weather. You'll find us in Gorgie, with free parking for your guests and just a short taxi ride from Princes Street. The ground-floor location means no lifts or stairs to navigate, making arrival straightforward for everyone attending your celebration or meeting.
