The Control Room at Bowerman Studios brings together professional recording equipment and comfortable social space in one compact 4.5 x 3 metre room. When musicians finish tracking in our Chelsea studio, this space transforms from technical hub to intimate gathering spot, complete with our Focal Twin 6BE monitors that make any playlist sound extraordinary. We've kept the original studio character intact, from the mixing console that serves as both functional equipment and conversation starter, to the acoustic panels lining the walls that create perfect sound without bothering the neighbours. The plush brown sofa with its patterned cushions has hosted everyone from Grammy-winning producers reviewing final mixes to birthday guests enjoying cocktails between the faders. Our solid oak floors reflect the warm glow of the professional lighting setup, while the sophisticated audio gear creates an authentic backdrop that photography enthusiasts particularly love. The room comfortably hosts 10 guests reception-style or seats 7 for more formal gatherings, with the mixing desk often doubling as an unexpected cocktail bar or buffet station during parties.
