The Wine Cellar Thirty years beneath Holborn's streets, our Wine Cellar has become something of a London secret. The exposed brick walls tell their own story, while vinous memorabilia collected over decades creates conversation starters at every turn. We've hosted countless private dinners here, from boardroom celebrations to anniversary parties, and the room never fails to work its magic. The space comfortably seats 30 for dinner, with our long tables encouraging the kind of conversations that last well into the evening. For drinks receptions, we can accommodate 40 guests, giving everyone room to mingle while staying close enough for genuine connection. The soft glow from our table lamps and candles transforms the brick archways into something rather special after dark. Our kitchen team prepares everything fresh upstairs, with menus that adapt to your preferences. We've perfected our vegan and gluten-free offerings over the years, ensuring every guest feels properly looked after. The bar stays open until midnight, stocked with wines we've personally selected (ask about our cellar treasures if you're curious). Despite being underground, the room stays comfortable year-round thanks to proper air conditioning. Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected when needed, though most find themselves absorbed in the atmosphere instead. The acoustics work beautifully for speeches or background music, whatever your evening requires. Just moments from Farringdon Station, finding us involves discovering our cobblestone courtyard, though once your guests step down into The Wine Cellar, they'll feel wonderfully removed from the city above. We handle cloakroom facilities and all the practical details, leaving you free to enjoy your evening.
