Dark green panelling wraps around our Boardroom like a Victorian drawing room that decided to throw a party. Those floral chandeliers overhead? They're conversation starters in themselves, casting patterns across the wooden floors when sunlight streams through during afternoon gatherings. We've watched this space transform from morning presentations to evening celebrations, and it never fails to surprise us how the room shifts mood with the changing light. The room comfortably hosts 40 guests for standing receptions, where people tend to cluster around the vintage cabinets, cocktails in hand. For sit-down dinners, we arrange tables for 26, and there's something about dining under those botanical chandeliers that makes every meal feel special. Corporate groups appreciate the flexibility too - we can configure the space as a traditional boardroom for 28, theatre-style for 30, or classroom layout for 18 when training sessions run through lunch. That large TV screen tucked into the panelling has screened everything from birthday montages to wedding slideshows. The AV equipment handles whatever technical requirements come our way, though honestly, most parties end up using it for their carefully curated playlists more than presentations. Natural light does most of the work during daytime events, but come evening, the warm lighting transforms the space into something more intimate. The botanical theme from our main venue carries through here - art pieces featuring pressed flowers and vintage botanical prints line the walls between those green panels. Plush seating gives groups comfortable corners for catching up between dancing, and the wooden floors have witnessed countless celebration shuffles. Just a short walk from Sheffield city centre, with paid parking nearby, guests find us easily. The entire space is step-free accessible, ensuring everyone can join the party in our green-panelled hideaway.
