Jazz nights and sourdough pizzas have made our Whole Bar the heartbeat of sYp, where City workers transform into party guests when the sun goes down. We've watched countless celebrations unfold across our wooden floors, from wedding receptions that dance until midnight to birthday parties that spill out from our U-shaped booths onto the main floor. The space holds 100 guests standing comfortably, or we can arrange seating for 50 when you need everyone at tables. Our spherical pendant lights cast the perfect glow over geometric-patterned upholstery, while high windows flood the room with natural light during afternoon gatherings. The bar anchors the space, where our bartenders craft cocktails between serving rounds of our famous sourdough pizzas, those crispy bases that somehow taste even better at 10pm than they do at lunch. The real magic happens when music fills the room. Our full sound system stands ready for your DJ or band, complete with all the connections and equipment they'll need. Corporate teams often book the whole space for their events, using our flexible layout to create networking zones or presentation areas. We've hosted engagement parties where couples shared their first dance near the bar, and product launches where the booths became meeting pods for client conversations. Every Monday our Jazz Jam sessions show what this room can really do, musicians spreading out across the space while guests settle into armchairs with their drinks. That same energy carries through to private events, whether you're planning a sophisticated cocktail reception or a proper celebration that needs room to move. Just a short walk from Aldgate Station, we've become the spot where City professionals let their hair down, where formal meetings turn into memorable nights, and where our sourdough pizzas fuel conversations that last until closing time.
