Red brick walls and massive timber beams tell the story of The Outhouse, our transformed 1800s stable building that now hosts Glasgow's most memorable celebrations. We've kept the soul of this historic space intact while adding everything you need for a brilliant party, from the polished concrete floors that invite dancing to the fairy lights strung overhead that cast the perfect glow as night falls. Your guests enter through our private garden in the West End, already sensing this isn't your typical party venue. Inside, original baulk timber roofing soars above, while large windows flood the space with natural light during afternoon gatherings or frame the garden beautifully for evening events. We can accommodate 200 of your friends standing with drinks in hand, or seat 160 theatre-style if you're planning presentations alongside the party. The open floor plan means you control the atmosphere completely. Our PA system and projector are ready for speeches, slideshows, or your carefully curated playlist, while three-phase power supply and blackout capabilities have made us particularly popular with photographers and film crews who need specific lighting conditions. Many couples have transformed the space for wedding receptions, stringing more lights, arranging flowers against our red brick backdrop, and dancing late into the night with our alcohol licence running until midnight. Getting here couldn't be easier, with 100 free parking spaces on-site and good public transport links nearby along Glasgow's riverside. Our in-house catering spans Mediterranean to Mexican, though you're welcome to bring your own caterers or DJ to match your vision exactly.
