Our Victorian Board School's covered playground has transformed into The Bench, where exposed brick walls meet soaring arched windows that flood the space with natural light throughout the day. Just three minutes from Farringdon Station, this former playground now hosts everything from birthday celebrations to corporate parties, with its distinctive artistic panels suspended from the high ceilings creating conversations before guests even arrive. The polished stone floors have witnessed countless celebrations, while our long communal wooden tables and stools adapt to whatever gathering you're planning. We can arrange the space for 30 seated guests enjoying a dinner party, or open it up for 60 people mingling with drinks and canapés. The flexibility means we've hosted everything from milestone birthdays with formal dining to relaxed networking events where guests flow naturally between conversations. What makes The Bench particularly special for summer events is the direct access to our private outdoor terrace.
