The Terrace at Paradiso Southbank transforms from a sun-drenched lunch spot to an atmospheric evening venue as the Thames reflects the changing light throughout the day. Our wooden-decked outdoor space wraps around the building, giving you those prized 180-degree river views that make Gabriel's Wharf such a special corner of London. We've furnished the Terrace with solid wooden tables and chairs that work equally well for corporate lunches or birthday celebrations, with large umbrellas providing comfortable shade during afternoon events. The space holds 80 guests for standing receptions or 60 for seated dining, and we often see groups starting with welcome drinks at our private outdoor bar before settling in for dinner. The semi-private layout means you get the buzz of riverside life without losing the intimacy of your own event. We've hosted everything from 40th birthday parties that run late into summer evenings to Christmas gatherings where mulled cocktails steam in the crisp December air. The heating keeps the space comfortable year-round, though we'll admit there's something special about those long June evenings when the terrace really comes alive. Our kitchen serves the same menu outside as in, so your guests can enjoy our Yorkshire farm chicken or that Vegan Viking Burger while watching the boats pass by. For drinks receptions, we set up the private bar with our signature cocktails, the grapefruit spritz and peach passion fruit martini proving particularly popular as the sun sets over the river. Temple Station sits just minutes away, with Waterloo equally close for guests coming from different directions.
