Pop art meets church architecture in our Mal Bar, where 100 guests can gather beneath a constellation of hanging Edison bulbs. We've transformed this corner of our converted Greek Orthodox church into Glasgow's most unexpected party space, keeping the soaring ceilings while adding bold splashes of colour throughout. Our mixologists work behind a sleek dark bar topped with striking red stools, crafting everything from Smoked Old Fashioneds to tropical Mai Tais served in Havana Club tins. The whisky collection draws particular attention, though we're equally proud of our rotating craft beers and creative cocktail experiments. Blue velvet armchairs and sofas create intimate conversation zones, while the open floor plan lets larger groups flow naturally through the space. The original church windows flood the room with natural light during afternoon gatherings, transforming into atmospheric backdrops once evening arrives. Our pop art collection punctuates the walls, chosen specifically to complement the ecclesiastical bones of the building. The versatile layout works brilliantly for corporate drinks receptions, birthday celebrations, or pre-wedding gatherings, with our team adjusting the furniture configuration to suit your event style. Being just off Blythswood Square puts your guests within a five-minute walk of Glasgow Central station, while Sauchiehall Street's restaurants and late-night venues sit equally close.
