Red velvet chairs catch the afternoon light streaming through our grand windows, while the polished wooden floors echo with over 260 years of celebrations. The Pub at The One Tun transforms from our daily watering hole into your private party space, where Charles Dickens once found inspiration and where your guests will find themselves perfectly at home. We've arranged the room to work brilliantly for different party styles. For sit-down birthday dinners or engagement celebrations, we comfortably seat 50 guests around our mix of classic wooden tables. When you're planning something more lively, perhaps a milestone birthday bash or festive office party, we can accommodate up to 100 guests for standing receptions. The layout flows naturally between our well-stocked bar area and the main floor, encouraging mingling while keeping service smooth. Our bar team knows how to keep a party going, whether your crowd prefers craft beers, carefully chosen wines, or our signature cocktails. The elegant portraits gazing down from our walls have witnessed countless toasts and celebrations, while the large mirror amplifies both light and laughter throughout the space. That intricate ceiling design above? It's original Victorian craftsmanship that photographs beautifully in party pictures. The warm amber lighting creates just the right mood as evening approaches, complementing the rich tones of our wooden furnishings and those distinctive red chairs. Natural daylight pours in during afternoon gatherings, showing off the room's authentic character without harsh fluorescents spoiling the atmosphere. Just a short walk from Farringdon Station means your guests can easily reach us from across London, while our quiet side street location keeps the party atmosphere contained within these historic walls. We've hosted everything from 30th birthdays to retirement parties, each one making use of this genuinely characterful space that offers something far more memorable than another anonymous function room.
