The restored Victorian building on King's Cross Road comes alive when you take over both floors for your celebration. Our Full Venue hire gives you exclusive use of the entire space, accommodating up to 100 standing guests across two characterful levels that each bring their own atmosphere to your party. The ground floor centres around our main bar, where rich wooden surfaces meet deep blue walls under the warm glow of pendant lights. Natural light pours through the large windows during afternoon gatherings, while evening parties benefit from the French doors that connect seamlessly to our walled secret garden. Groups naturally drift between the bar area and the outdoor seating, cocktails in hand, especially during summer celebrations. Your guests can explore downstairs to find our basement snug, a more intimate space with exposed brick walls and its own private bar. The candlelit atmosphere down here works brilliantly for live music or DJs, and with separate sound systems on each floor, you can create different moods throughout the building. We've seen wedding parties run speeches upstairs while the dancing kicks off below, or corporate groups use one level for presentations while networking continues on the other. Our team works with you to craft the right drinks menu for your event, whether that's signature cocktails, our rotating selection of craft beers, or wines from independent suppliers we've discovered. Catering runs from bar snacks to full menus, with flexibility for external caterers if you have something specific in mind. A dedicated event manager coordinates everything on the night, from managing the bar service to adjusting the lighting as your party evolves. The wood-burning stove in our back room becomes a natural gathering point during winter parties, while summer events spill out into the garden.
