Through the heavy oak doors of our Grade II* listed building, you'll discover The Church, where centuries of Clerkenwell history meet contemporary design in one extraordinary space. Tom Dixon's sculptural lighting pieces cast dramatic shadows across the original vaulted ceilings, while natural light pours through towering stained glass windows, transforming throughout the day from morning brilliance to evening glow. We've carefully preserved the architectural soul of this sacred space while adapting it for modern celebrations. The main floor accommodates 250 guests comfortably, with traditional pews flanking the sides that we often incorporate into creative seating arrangements. For larger gatherings, the balcony opens up additional space, bringing total capacity to 300 for standing receptions or theatre-style presentations. Modern chairs and tables can be configured around the original parquet flooring, where intricate mosaic patterns tell their own story beneath your feet. Corporate events take on new energy here, with projectors and PA systems seamlessly integrated into the historic fabric.
