The Great Hall truly comes alive when filled with guests, whether that's 160 delegates for a conference or 100 enjoying a seated dinner beneath our dramatic lighting system. We've carefully preserved the original wood panelling, arranged in that distinctive chevron pattern that catches everyone's eye, while adding contemporary touches that make events run smoothly. What works particularly well here is how the space transforms throughout the day. Morning conferences benefit from the natural light and our built-in projection systems, while evening parties take advantage of the adjustable lighting to create something more atmospheric. The high ceilings give everything a sense of occasion, and we've installed sound-absorbent acoustics so conversations flow easily even when the room is full. Our flexible layout options mean we can arrange The Great Hall exactly as you need it. Theatre-style works brilliantly for presentations to 160 people, while cabaret seating for 80 creates a more relaxed networking atmosphere. For formal dinners, we set banquet tables for 100, complete with our signature table settings. The boardroom configuration seats 30 comfortably, perfect for more focused discussions. The ante room, which you reach via our spiral staircase or lift, provides extra space when you need it. Groups often use this for pre-dinner drinks or as a quiet area during larger events. All our audio-visual equipment is built in and ready to use, from the projection systems to the high-quality sound setup. Getting your guests here couldn't be simpler. Barbican station is literally a minute's walk away, with Farringdon close by too. For those driving, there are several car parks nearby.
