The Beer Garden - Outside Terrace transforms what could be a simple outdoor space into something rather special. Step through from our main venue and you'll find yourself in this covered terrace where fairy lights twinkle overhead through the clear roof panels, casting a warm glow across the colourful wicker chairs and sturdy wooden tables below. We've created this space for up to 35 standing guests, or 30 if you prefer everyone seated around our wooden tables. The terrace works brilliantly for everything from relaxed birthday drinks where guests spill out from the main venue, to more intimate celebration dinners where the whole party stays outside. Those strings of lights aren't just decoration, they create proper ambiance when evening falls, while the heating keeps everyone comfortable even when Glasgow weather does its thing. The greenery we've woven throughout the space softens the urban setting, and those little lanterns on each table add just the right touch without being fussy. Being on the ground floor means your guests can flow easily between inside and out, particularly handy when you're using both spaces for larger celebrations. The clear roof is a godsend, letting daylight flood in whilst keeping everyone dry, so you're never at the mercy of unpredictable weather. What really makes this terrace work is how it adapts to different party styles. We've seen it set up for standing cocktail receptions where guests mingle amongst the plants and lights, and we've arranged it for sit-down birthday dinners where everyone fits cosily around the tables. You can bring your own playlist to set the mood, and our kitchen can serve anything from sharing platters to proper three-course meals out here. The covered structure means the space works year-round, those heaters earning their keep during winter celebrations whilst summer parties can run late into our 1 AM closing time.
