The first adjustable bookshelves ever created line the walls of The Library, their preservation order status a testament to the remarkable craftsmanship found throughout Asia House. We've watched countless couples exchange vows beneath the ornate ceiling, where Sir John Soane's Georgian influence creates an atmosphere of timeless romance that photographs beautifully. This intimate space transforms effortlessly for weddings of up to 45 guests. Natural light pours through our original sash windows, catching the gilt spines of books and warming the soft carpet tones we chose specifically to complement wedding photography. The marble fireplace, original to the building, provides a stunning backdrop for ceremonies, while the scholarly atmosphere adds gravitas to your special day. We configure The Library to match your vision, whether you're planning a traditional ceremony with 40 guests in theatre-style seating or prefer an informal reception setup. Many couples particularly love how the book-lined walls create natural conversation points during drinks receptions, and the warm acoustics make speeches feel especially personal. Our modern additions blend discreetly with the Georgian features.
