The Mersea Room is our most intimate private dining space, where rich orange walls meet deep blue leather chairs around a magnificent long table that seats up to 26 guests. The warm glow from our wall sconces and overhead fixtures creates an atmosphere that feels both grand and welcoming, while classic artwork and a striking fireplace remind you that you're dining in a piece of Mayfair history. We've designed this room with versatility in mind. For corporate meetings, the boardroom setup accommodates 24 colleagues around our polished table. Theatre-style arrangements work beautifully for presentations to 26 attendees, whilst cocktail receptions flow naturally with space for 40 guests to mingle. The private bar tucked into one corner keeps drinks service discreet and efficient, whether you're hosting a working lunch or celebrating into the evening. Our piano sits ready for live entertainment, adding that special touch to wedding receptions or birthday celebrations. The room's PA system handles everything from background music to speeches, whilst our air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable regardless of the season. Though we don't have natural light, the warm ambiance we've created makes afternoon meetings feel energised and evening celebrations properly atmospheric. Being moments from Piccadilly Circus Station means your guests arrive easily from anywhere in Central London. Our location on Swallow Street puts you right in the heart of Mayfair, with Regent Street's shopping and theatreland just a short walk away. For wedding ceremonies, we hold a licence that allows you to say your vows right here, followed by celebrations that can continue until midnight thanks to our late alcohol licence. From board meetings over oysters to champagne receptions and formal dinners featuring our renowned seafood, The Mersea Room adapts to whatever your event requires, all backed by over a century of hospitality expertise.
