Perched high above the National Theatre, The Deck presents a contemporary event space where theatrical drama meets corporate sophistication. Our sixth-floor location rewards guests with sweeping views across the Thames, taking in St Paul's Cathedral, the City skyline and the constant river traffic below through floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around the space. The room itself showcases modern architectural brilliance, with a geometric ceiling centred around a distinctive circular light fixture that creates ambient illumination throughout. Warm wooden flooring contrasts beautifully with the steel framework, while our retractable glass panels blur the boundaries between inside and out, allowing fresh air to flow through during warmer months or creating a cosy enclosed atmosphere when London weather demands it. We've equipped The Deck with professional-grade sound and lighting systems, designed by the National Theatre's own technical teams, ensuring your presentations, performances or party atmosphere benefit from theatrical expertise. The flexible space accommodates 200 guests for standing receptions, 120 in theatre-style seating, 100 for seated dinners, 48 in cabaret formation or 26 around our boardroom configuration. Our riverside location makes us ideal for cocktail parties that spill onto the terrace, elegant dinner parties with a backdrop of twinkling city lights, product launches that demand attention, summer barbecues, or wedding ceremonies with London as your witness.
