The Cellars beneath The Prince Alfred offers something you won't find anywhere else in Maida Vale. Down the stairs from our Victorian pub, you'll discover what was once the coal storage, now transformed into an intimate private space where exposed brick vaulted ceilings curve overhead and original iron framework tells the story of its past. We've furnished The Cellars with deep, tufted leather banquettes that run along the walls, creating cozy corners perfect for conversation. The space comfortably seats 30 guests around tables we set elegantly for your celebration, whether that's a milestone birthday, leaving party, or festive gathering. The warm lighting picks up the texture of the original brickwork, while contemporary artwork adds unexpected character to this historic underground room.
