The Great Hall transforms corporate celebrations and social gatherings into something truly memorable. Walk through those double doors and watch your guests' faces light up as they take in the soaring Corinthian columns and intricate gold-leaf detailing that catches the light from our floor-to-ceiling windows. We've hosted countless awards ceremonies here, with 200 guests seated comfortably at round tables while presenters command attention from the stage area. The acoustics carry speeches beautifully across the room, whether you're announcing company achievements or toasting newlyweds. For cocktail parties, we can accommodate up to 320 guests who naturally flow between the columns, creating intimate conversation spaces within the grandeur. Our lighting system completely changes the atmosphere as evening falls. We regularly bathe the columns in corporate colours for brand launches, shift to warm amber tones for gala dinners, or create those magical pink and blue washes you see transforming wedding receptions into enchanted evenings. The detailed reliefs around the walls provide elegant backdrops for photography, while the polished floors reflect the ambient lighting to double the effect. Dinner dances work particularly well here, with space for 170 guests plus a dance floor. We position the DJ or band where the acoustics work best, leaving plenty of room for dancing between courses. The high ceilings mean the music fills the space without overwhelming conversation at the tables. Being in Bloomsbury means your guests arrive easily from Euston station, just moments away. During summer events, we often open the doors to our courtyard, letting guests drift outside with their drinks between the formal proceedings inside.
