Our upstairs wedding space sits above the working kitchen where your celebration meal takes shape throughout the day. Those 120 guests at your drinks reception will notice the reclaimed wood tables first, each one salvaged from Sheffield demolition sites and given new purpose here on Staniforth Road. The exposed ceiling beams catch everyone's attention during speeches. We discovered them when converting this first-floor space, and now they frame the afternoon light beautifully as it pours through the windows. Your photographer will thank you for choosing this room, especially during golden hour when the whole space glows. For seated weddings, we arrange tables for 82 guests, though every couple seems to configure things differently. Some create long banquet-style arrangements, others prefer rounds with the dance floor central. Our AV system handles everything from first dance playlists to video messages from overseas relatives who couldn't make the journey. Your wedding breakfast comes straight from our kitchen below, where chefs start early preparing fresh bread and assembling the Sheffield cheese boards that have become somewhat famous among our regulars. Summer weddings benefit from herbs and edible flowers picked from our beds outside that morning. We change menus based on what local suppliers bring us, working with you to create dishes that reflect your tastes. The building runs on solar power most days, and our electric vans handle deliveries using energy from the panels above your heads. Even small details matter to us, like the bannister fashioned from storm-damaged trees that your guests grip while climbing our stairs in their finery. Free parking awaits your guests outside, and Sheffield city centre sits close enough for those staying in hotels. We've hosted intimate ceremonies and grand receptions here, each one shaped by what matters most to the couple planning their day.
