The Dining Area at Megan's at the Sorting Office wraps you in Mediterranean warmth the moment you arrive at 6 Esther Anne Place in Islington Square. Wicker lampshades hang from woven ceilings like giant lanterns, casting patterns of light across walls decorated with carefully chosen art and mirrors. This semi-private space comfortably hosts 100 standing guests for cocktail parties or 80 seated for dinner celebrations. We've designed the room to work with your party plans, not against them. Long communal tables run through the centre, perfect for those birthday dinners where everyone needs to see each other, while smaller tables tucked into corners create intimate spaces for quieter conversations. Wicker chairs with plush cushions keep your guests comfortable throughout the evening, whether they're settling in for a three-course feast or mingling with drinks in hand. Fairy lights wrap around columns and trail along walls, doing most of your decorating for you. The soft glow combines with natural light during daytime events, while evenings transform the space into something more intimate and atmospheric. Our Mediterranean-inspired menu brings the party to life with sharing boards piled high with dips and grilled meats, those posh kebabs everyone photographs, and buttermilk fried chicken with date BBQ sauce that disappears faster than we can make it. The open nature of our Dining Area means you get privacy for your group while still feeling the energy of the restaurant around you. Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, our PA system handles speeches and playlists, and air conditioning maintains comfort regardless of how packed the dance floor gets. Getting here couldn't be easier with multiple transport links nearby and accessible parking options for those driving in. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday, engagement party, or just gathering your favourite people together, our Dining Area creates the backdrop for celebrations worth remembering.
