The Courtyard (Ground Floor) at The Stables brings together exposed brick walls and a soaring glass ceiling that transforms throughout the day, from bright morning meetings to atmospheric evening parties. We've designed this space to work as both an intimate gathering spot and a flowing extension of our main venue, with direct access to the ground floor's barrel-vaulted halls through floor-to-ceiling windows. Natural light pours through the glass roof during daytime events, while our integrated lighting system creates completely different moods once the sun sets. The brick walls provide natural acoustics that work brilliantly for live music, and we've added plenty of greenery to soften the industrial edges. Plants cascade from various levels, creating pockets of interest without blocking sightlines across the space. Our technical setup includes a full PA system and projector that handle everything from background music to professional presentations. The bar area sits perfectly positioned for drinks service without disrupting the flow of your event. We can arrange the space for 100 standing guests at cocktail parties, seat 100 for dinner, or configure 80 theatre-style seats for presentations and performances. The beauty of The Courtyard lies in its flexibility. Corporate teams use it as a breakout space during conferences, while party planners love how it offers guests a change of scene without leaving the venue. The covered design means weather never disrupts your plans, and our climate control keeps everyone comfortable whether it's a summer party or winter celebration. Located just minutes from Covent Garden tube station, with Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road stations equally close, your guests will find us easily. The combination of outdoor atmosphere with indoor comfort makes The Courtyard particularly popular for drinks receptions, product launches, and birthday parties where people want something beyond a standard function room.
