River light pours through our ground floor windows, filling the Downstairs Bar Area with the kind of natural brightness that makes everyone look good in photos. This is where we host everything from 30th birthday bashes to product launches, with space for 400 guests standing or 80 seated around dining tables. The room wraps around our main bar, giving your guests easy access to drinks while they take in those views of the Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge through our floor-to-ceiling windows. We've arranged the space with a mix of high tables for cocktails and lower seating areas in rich blues and warm woods, so people can choose between mingling or settling in for longer conversations. The layout shifts easily depending on what you need, whether that's clearing the floor for dancing or setting up rows for presentations. Our kitchen team creates buffet spreads tailored to your event, from sharing platters to three-course dinners. The bar stocks everything you'd expect, plus we can arrange specific drinks for your celebration. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable year-round, while our PA system handles everything from background music to full DJ sets when you want to turn up the energy later in the evening. Being right on Newcastle's Quayside means your guests can stroll along the river before or after your event, with parking available on-site and the nearest Metro stations just a short walk away. We've made sure the space works for everyone with step-free access throughout and accessible facilities. The windows do most of the decorating for us, especially when the bridges light up at night, but we can work with you on additional styling. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout for those inevitable social media moments, and yes, well-behaved dogs can join the party too.
