Three distinct rooms beneath The Brewery's vaulted ceilings give you options most venues can't match. The Grubstreet Cellars combines The Sample Room, The Pasteur Room and The Cutting Room, each with its own personality and purpose. The copper bar in The Sample Room catches the light from our ambient lighting system, creating the perfect backdrop for drinks receptions. We've hosted everything from 40th birthday celebrations to product launches here, with guests naturally gravitating towards the bar's warm metallic glow. The contemporary design works particularly well for cocktail parties where people want to mingle rather than sit. Through the archway, The Pasteur Room shifts the mood entirely. Our burnt iron chandelier hangs above tables that seat 60 for formal dinners, though we often configure it cabaret-style for 45 when clients want more movement during their event. The industrial features - exposed brick, original ironwork - create drama without trying too hard. Wedding parties love how the chandelier photographs, corporate groups appreciate the acoustics during presentations. The Cutting Room pays homage to vintage cinema with plush seating and our built-in screen with surround sound. Product launches work brilliantly here - the AV equipment handles everything from simple presentations to full video productions. We can seat 65 theatre-style or create a more relaxed atmosphere with cabaret seating for 45. Our bar licence runs until 1am, giving evening events proper breathing room. The in-house catering team knows these spaces inside out - they'll suggest where to position food stations to keep flow moving when you've got 88 guests for a standing reception. We're minutes from Moorgate, Liverpool Street and Barbican stations, making it easy for guests to arrive from anywhere in London. The whole space works together or separately, depending on what your celebration needs.
