The Dance Studio spreads across 8.5 x 8.4 metres of sprung wooden flooring, where sunlight pours through oversized windows throughout the day. We've watched countless dancers perfect their craft in front of our full-length mirror wall, from contemporary performers preparing for shows to fitness instructors leading energetic morning sessions. This fourth-floor space carries a special energy. The 4.5-metre ceiling height gives movements room to breathe, while natural light transforms the atmosphere as the day progresses. Our air handling system keeps things comfortable even during the most intensive workshops, and the quality sound system fills every corner without overwhelming conversation during breaks. We keep an upright piano in the corner, regularly used for ballet classes and musical theatre rehearsals. The space comfortably holds 25 people for standing events, though we've seen it work beautifully for smaller, more intimate gatherings too. The wooden floors are specifically designed for soft shoe and barefoot work, protecting joints during extended practice sessions. Just minutes from Bethnal Green station, getting here with equipment is straightforward. Our building's Victorian heritage adds character to every event, though the studio itself feels contemporary and fresh. Downstairs, our café serves proper coffee and those infamous brownies, perfect for post-rehearsal discussions or quick breaks between sessions. We welcome external catering for special events and can accommodate ticketed performances. The studio has hosted everything from contact improvisation workshops to private dance parties, fitness bootcamps to choreography showcases. Whatever movement-based event you're planning, this adaptable space responds beautifully to different creative visions.
