Our restored 'Tween Deck occupies the historic cargo hold where tea chests from China once filled every corner. Today, round tables dressed in crisp white linens sit beneath the original teak planks and iron frames that sailed through the China Seas and Southern Ocean over a century ago. We've carefully preserved these authentic ship timbers while creating an intimate space that works beautifully for both ceremonies and dinner parties. The room comfortably hosts 100 guests for standing receptions or 60 for seated dinners, with flexible layouts that adapt to your celebration style. Glass-encased exhibits line the walls, displaying maritime artifacts and ship models that tell the Cutty Sark's story, these historical pieces naturally spark conversations among guests throughout the evening. The warm lighting we've installed highlights the aged wood and creates an inviting glow across the dining tables, each set with fine glassware and polished cutlery. This middle deck space feels wonderfully enclosed and atmospheric, the low ceilings and surrounding timber create an intimate setting that's particularly suited to wedding ceremonies, anniversary dinners and milestone birthday celebrations. The nautical heritage isn't overdone but woven throughout, from the iron frames overhead to the carefully curated maritime displays that give context to where you're celebrating. Getting here couldn't be simpler, we're just a short walk from Greenwich station, with Island Gardens and Maze Hill stations also nearby. Once aboard, your guests step directly into this piece of maritime history, where the same planks that carried precious cargo across oceans now provide the backdrop for your special occasion. The 'Tween Deck transforms private celebrations into something more, a gathering held within the hull of a ship that once raced across the world's oceans.
