Walk up the stairs from our bustling pub and discover the Private Event Room, where rich wooden floors meet dark, elegant walls adorned with vintage mirrors. We've kept the original fireplace as a centrepiece, creating that perfect balance between traditional pub character and modern party space. The room holds up to 110 guests for drinks and mingling, or we can arrange tables for 24 if you're planning a sit-down meal. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, while our exposed bulb lighting creates just the right atmosphere once evening arrives. We've designed the layout to flow naturally, with plenty of space for guests to move between the bar area, seating spots, and entertainment zones. Our private bar runs the full length of one wall, where we serve everything from our international draft beer selection to those gins we've been collecting over the years. The bartenders know their craft cocktails too, mixing drinks to order throughout your event. When guests fancy a bit of competition, the pool table and dartboard always draw a crowd, especially as the night progresses. The rooftop terrace connects directly to the room, transforming summer parties with that extra outdoor space. Even in winter, guests pop out for fresh air between rounds of pool or during particularly energetic dance sessions. We've installed a proper PA system so you can plug in your playlist or bring a DJ, and the Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. Our kitchen downstairs can sort your catering, from our famous carvery spreads to custom buffets designed around your event. The space works brilliantly for corporate functions, birthday celebrations, engagement parties, or any gathering where you want privacy without losing that authentic pub atmosphere.
