The Norfolk Cloister stretches before you as a remarkable 14th-century corridor, where centuries of London history live in every stone. We've preserved this former monastery walkway exactly as it should be, with original flagstone floors that have felt the footsteps of Carthusian monks, Tudor nobles, and Victorian schoolboys alike. Walking through our cloister, you'll notice how the brick arches create natural frames for conversation, while our carefully positioned wall sconces cast pools of warm light across the medieval stonework. The space runs the full length of our north side, offering a dramatic perspective that photographers particularly love. We can accommodate 180 guests for standing drinks receptions, seat 120 theatre-style for presentations, or arrange elegant dining for up to 100. Our team regularly transforms this historic corridor for wedding celebrations, where couples make their entrance through the ancient doorway that once led to monks' cells. The acoustics here are something special, whether you're bringing your own DJ or arranging live musicians.
