We've created something genuinely different here on Curtain Road, a space that works brilliantly for parties of up to 80 people standing or 60 seated for dinner. Our bar takes centre stage, splashed with neon colours that echo throughout the room. Behind it, our bartenders craft cocktails like the Candylife, where Haribo sweets meet strawberry puree and vodka, or the botanical Green Lady with its fresh cucumber and pepper notes. The open layout encourages natural flow between the bar area and various seating clusters, from plush Victorian armchairs to our rainbow-bright painted chairs that guests love photographing. Large windows flood the space with natural light during daytime events, illuminating the curiosities we've collected on every surface, ornate mirrors reflecting the greenery we've woven throughout. Come evening, the atmosphere shifts as the lights dim and the space transforms for celebrations. Our piano, surrounded by elegant seating, hosts everything from spontaneous singalongs at birthday parties to polished performances during corporate events. We handle weddings with the same playful spirit, creating ceremonies and receptions that feel refreshingly different from traditional venues. Art exhibitions work particularly well here, with our eclectic backdrop complementing contemporary pieces.
